Less grease, floors that shine
Kitchen deep cleaning and tile and marble polishing
The kitchen is where dirt builds up fastest, because daily cooking leaves a greasy vapour that sticks to cupboards, walls and the hood, then holds dust on top until it becomes a sticky layer ordinary cleaning can’t shift. In Saudi homes, where gatherings and cooking for many people are common, it happens even faster.
Floors, too, lose their shine over time as tiles and marble pick up fine scratches and dirty grout; machine scrubbing and polishing restores their look. With SaudiCleaning you say what you need — the kitchen, the floors or both — and your request reaches specialist companies in your city who contact you with offers.

What the work includes
The two services are different; you can request either or both:
Kitchen cupboards
Removing grease from fronts and handles, cleaning cupboards inside once emptied, and the cupboard tops where dust and grease collect.
Walls and worktops
The wall behind the cooker and the tiles around it, marble or granite worktops, the sink and taps.
Hood and appliances
The hood outside and its removable filters, the oven, fridge and microwave outside — and inside if agreed.
Tile scrubbing
Scrubbing tiles with rotary machines that lift ingrained dirt and bring the grout back towards its colour.
Marble polishing
Grinding the marble surface to remove dullness and fine scratches, then polishing, and sealing where needed.
What it usually doesn’t include
Kitchen cleaning doesn’t usually include long internal extraction ducts in buildings, repairing appliances, or replacing hinges and damaged worktops. In restaurants and commercial kitchens, cleaning chimneys and extraction ducts is a separate specialist job.
Marble polishing doesn’t remove deep chips and cracks or change the marble’s original colour, and stains that have soaked in deeply may only fade. Tiles whose surface is worn or broken need replacing, not polishing. A serious company checks the floor first and tells you what can be achieved.
You can combine this service with deep cleaning for the whole home, or with move-in cleaning when floors are exposed and the home is empty.
How the work is done, and how long it takes
In the kitchen the team empties cupboards if they’re included, then tackles grease from top to bottom with products suited to each surface — wood differs from aluminium, marble from granite. The hood and appliances are cleaned next, and the floor last.
Tile and marble polishing needs the room cleared of furniture. The technician then works in stages with a rotary machine and pads of different grit, using water or products suited to the stone, then dries and buffs the surface. Marble needs time after polishing before shoes or furniture go back on it.
Time depends on the kitchen’s size and the amount of grease, and on the floor area, type and condition. An average kitchen can be done in part of a day; polishing a whole villa’s floors may take more than a day. Ask for an estimate in the offer.
How to prepare
- Empty kitchen cupboards if they’re included, and move food elsewhere.
- For floor polishing: move light furniture out of the rooms, and agree with the company about heavy furniture.
- Mention the floor type: natural marble, porcelain, ceramic or granite.
- Tell the company about stains or chips you already know of.
- Plan not to walk on marble after polishing for the time the technician advises.
Equipment, products and team
Tile and marble polishing needs specialist machines not every general cleaning company has: rotary scrubbers, pads of different grit and wet vacuums. So ask about the equipment and the technician’s experience with your floor type — natural marble is sensitive to acids and can be damaged by unsuitable products.
In the kitchen, companies use strong degreasers, so ask whether they suit your surfaces and are safe around children. An important safety reminder: never mix cleaning products — especially bleach with other cleaners or with acidic limescale removers — and keep the kitchen ventilated during and after the work.
Questions to ask the company
- Do you clean cupboards and appliances inside as well?
- Which machines do you use for tiles and marble, and do you have experience with natural marble?
- Do you protect furniture and walls from water during polishing?
- How long before we can walk on the floor and move furniture back?
- What happens if a surface is damaged during the work?
What drives the price?
- The kitchen’s size and the amount of built-up grease.
- Cupboards and appliances inside, or outside only.
- Floor area in square metres and the type of stone.
- Floor condition: light dullness, or many scratches and stains.
- Whether sealing or extra polishing is needed afterwards.

Kitchen cleaning and floor polishing: FAQ
Will polishing make marble look new?
It restores much of the shine and removes dullness and fine scratches, but not deep chips or fully soaked-in stains.
Can ceramic tiles be polished?
They can be machine-scrubbed and the grout cleaned, but “polishing” them is different from marble.
How long does kitchen cleaning take?
It depends on size and grease; an average kitchen can be done in part of a day.
Does kitchen cleaning include the hood inside?
Usually the hood outside and its filters; long internal ducts are a separate specialist job.
Can I combine it with deep cleaning?
Yes — choose deep cleaning in the form and add kitchen degreasing as an extra. Read about deep cleaning.
When can furniture go back after marble polishing?
After the time the technician advises, so the surface dries and the finish sets.
